Thunderhawk Performance introduces the new rear 2" receiver hitch design for the Kawasaki Mule 610 and Mule 600 that eliminates the problems which are common to other brands of hitches previously sold for the Mule. Thunderhawk's exclusive patent pending design features increased strength to resist the bending that commonly occurs with other brands of hitches. The Thunderhawk rear receiver hitch also improves the vehicle departure angle by more than 10 degrees when compared to other hitches. Thunderhawk receiver hitches use an automotive-grade, reinforced receiver tube for strength, durability and proper fitment.

All hitches previously sold for the Mule 600 & 610 have copied the same flawed design. They all use a long, un-supported mounting plate to hang the receiver tube many inches behind the chassis mounting points. This flawed design bends easily, even when thicker steel is used. In addition, having the receiver tube sticking out so far behind the rear tires hurts the vehicle departure angle and causes the hitch to frequently drag the ground. Many Mule owners may not think that reduced departure angles will affect them, but having your rear hitch drag the ground through mild inclines and ditches will cause you to get stuck much more easily.

Thunderhawk Performance manufactures our new rear 2" receiver hitch using a CNC cut and formed mounting plate that is welded to the receiver tube to produce the strongest hitch available. Thunderhawk's exclusive patent pending design positions the receiver tube several inches closer to the axle centerline, directly below the chassis mounts, for significantly improved strength and resistance to bending, without sacrificing ground clearance. Durable black powdercoat finish resists rust and stands up to rough use. This hitch is capable of exceeding Kawasaki's rated towing capacity for the Mule, the tongue weight rating for this hitch is 125 lbs.

The Thunderhawk rear 2" receiver hitch is a bolt-on part that requires no drilling or cutting to install. This is a complete kit, including all necessary bolts and illustrated instructions. Installation is easy using common hand tools and takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Made in USA.

This Thunderhawk Performance receiver hitch accepts standard 2" automotive receiver hitch components. 2" receiver hitches are commonly used on most pick-up trucks. Many people already own these hitch bars and components, but these parts are also readily available at any large discount store or auto parts chain.
