The Kubota RTV500 UTV Bed Cover is constructed from .08" thick polished Tread Brite Aluminum - most standard truck toolboxes are only .063" aluminum!
The Bed Cover is then coated with Line-X using a 3-step process.
The Cover is sandblasted to provide a clean, rough surface for the liner to adhere. Line-X is then sprayed 1/16" thick, covering the exterior and forming a permanent bond that is nearly impossible to remove.
While the Line-X is still curing, a DuPont Kevlar coating is applied. The XTRA coating is then applied, and is specially formulated to chemically bond into one color composite urethane coat.
The Bed Cover features stainless steel hinges and bolts to ensure your cover remains rust-free.
Diamondback cover locks both the cover AND the tailgate with 1 keyed lock. 3/8" galvanized steel rods lock into aluminum brackets - keeping your tools and gear secure inside.
Bed cover can haul up to 250 lbs. ON TOP! A great way to haul a load of hay, firewood, feed, tree stands, big game, construction supplies, etc. while keeping your tools and supplies separate and secure.
Six high-strength Nylon tie down cleats make securing any load a breeze.
Need full use of your bed? The cover is designed to allow removal of the large hinged panel in seconds - providing an open bed for any hauling situation.
The bed cover mounts in minutes using included hardware.
Cover includes: 2 tailgate lock brackets which mounts with minimal drilling.
Mounting hardware and instructions are included.
*Please note - due to the RTV500 bed design, Diamondback bed cover requires minor customer modification to ensure full weather protection (previous customers have used silicone, foam, etc.) Please see photo.
